Social Responsibility Meeting of Key Players in the Exploratory Drilling Industry toward Local Communities and Indigenous Populations at MINEX 2024
Mohammad Aghajanlou, Head of IMIDRO (Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation Organization), participated in MINEX 2024 and held discussions with mining and mineral industry stakeholders.
During this program, he visited the IMIDRO booth as well as other mining and mineral industry companies and, through discussions with active participants in this field, became acquainted with the latest achievements in mining and mineral industries.

The transfer of mining projects by IMIDRO and IMPASCO occurs in five models, including:
Attracting investment for exploration, extraction, and sale of mineral materials
Attracting investors for mine development
Management of subsidiary complexes
Supply of raw mineral materials conditional on the establishment or expansion of processing plants
Partnership for investment through the formation of an operating company
Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Reza Ashraf Semnani, Head of the Non-Oil Drillers’ Union, and Mohammad Reza Shini Moghadam, CEO of Arka Hamayesh Yars Exhibition Company, at MINEX 2024
This MoU was concluded to establish a permanent secretariat and hold an annual specialized event in the field of exploratory drilling and related issues for the first time in the country.
Other side programs of the exhibition included specialized meetings with the participation of the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology, IMIDRO, the House of Mines of Iran, and the Non-Oil Drillers’ Union on topics such as:

Joint Cooperation MoU between RighTel and Esfahan Steel Company
subsidiaries of Shasta Holding, for Smartification of Esfahan Steel Infrastructure
The MoU was signed on 26 September (5 Mehr) on the sidelines of the 13th International Exhibition of Investment Opportunities in Mining and Mineral Industries (MINEX 2024), in the presence of Hossein Malazadeh, CEO of RighTel, and Mehdi Koohi, CEO of Esfahan Steel Company.
RighTel and Esfahan Steel Company signed a special cooperation agreement regarding smartification of infrastructure and development of industrial artificial intelligence. Since late last year, various initiatives have been underway to digitize Shasta’s holdings and implement digital transformation.
This MoU was concluded in line with the directives and guidance of the Supreme Leader, aiming to enhance Iran’s position in artificial intelligence, and in accordance with the 7th Development Plan, to leverage smartification capabilities, industrial AI, expand communication services, and promote digital transformation within Shasta holdings, ultimately increasing productivity and transparency.
The cooperation framework in this MoU focuses on RighTel providing smartification and communication services to Esfahan Steel Company in order to:
Increase efficiency
Increase revenue or reduce costs
Reduce human errors
Improve performance and customer experience
With the signing of this MoU, both parties commit to exert maximum effort to expand national capabilities in the areas covered by this agreement and achieve national self-reliance.
